14. Arizona Cardinals (-2)
It is hard to be too critical of any team that gets shut down by Bill Belichick and that defensive staff because for decades now, they have been dissecting teams and taking away what they do best. In this game, that meant forcing someone other than Kyler Murray to beat them.
Statistically, it is probably one of the worst games we have ever seen from Murray and he was held out of the endzone on the ground and through the air.
One bright spot is that Isaiah Simmons is doing more and more for this team and today he had a sack which was his second in two games.
13. Cleveland Browns (+2)
Baker Mayfield still is missing easy throws and hasn’t spent this season convincing everyone that he is the franchise QB that they have been dreaming of in Cleveland for decades. However, it really makes it easy to drown that noise out when you are 8-3 and you have Nick Chubb doing the dirty work for your offense.
There isn’t much new information to take from the game today except that it is a little concerning that they couldn’t get any pass rush this week. It isn’t like the Jaguars are stellar on offense and Olivier Vernon had 3 sacks last week, but maybe that was just a mirage?
