Week 13 NFL Power Rankings

Week 13 is nearly here and with it come the Week 13 NFL Power Rankings.

It turns out that there are a lot of pretenders at the top of the power rankings this year and teams are slowly starting to destroy any goodwill that they spent months building up through wins over bad teams.

Instead of looking at the season as a whole, I treated this week’s power rankings as “what have you done for me lately” and some teams have done a lot to help their stock recently while others have fallen flat.

Speaking of, let’s take our weekly trip to New York.

32. New York Jets (+0)

Another game, another loss, and another unfortunate reminder that no one on this team should be safe this offseason except for Mekhi Becton and Quinnen Williams. Everyone else should be sold for scraps.

31. Cincinnati Bengals (-2)

Calling a spade a spade, the Bengals needed a 103-yard kick return touchdown to keep things close with the New York Jets and they ultimately lost.

I think the Bengals are going in the right direction, but I think with Joe Burrow out, all eyes should be focused on tanking and getting a high draft pick.
