1. Cordy Glenn (they won’t do it, but they should)

Cordy Glenn is the best offensive tackle available by a country mile. However, the fact that the Titans didn’t bring him in for a workout immediately means that they are most likely not even considering him yet.

Lost in the wash of the COVID news and preparation for the upcoming season, Glenn went unsigned after being released and last worked out for a team right before the season (the Eagles on Sep. 4th).

That tells us that he does want to be in the NFL and that he isn’t sitting out due to COVID concerns.

30 years old is still relatively young for an offensive tackle and Glenn has been one of the better offensive tackles in the NFL for most of his career despite never having a season where he really had much help around him.

If you are looking for the best left tackle candidate for the rest of the season and the postseason, then the answer is Glenn. Even if you had to spot-start someone this week while you waited for him to go through COVID protocols and get into shape, it would still be worth it for the upside he would bring.

Speaking of spot-starters…
