Titans tackle options.

The Tennessee Titans have officially put Ty Sambrailo on I.R. and now they are going to be down their third-string left tackle.

I think we all know what the Titans are going to do at the position right now, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that they are making the right call.

Now to his credit, Keith Carter has turned his career as a position coach around since the days of not being able to prevent double-digit sack games. In the last year, he has helped get some players deemed as career backups, ready for action on Sundays.

Some of that improvement has come from more consistent runs from Derrick Henry and Ryan Tannehill‘s ability to get the ball out quickly. However, he deserves some credit and at this point, he deserves the benefit of the doubt with whoever he chooses to step in at left tackle.

However, that doesn’t mean that fans should just assume he is going to make the right move and not think about other options. I’ll talk about this more with each candidate, but let’s just dive in on who the Titans should start at left tackle.
