Round 2, pick 61: Kristian Fulton, CB

In my opinion, this pick will end up being the saving grace for this draft class.

Widely seen as a 1st round talent, Fulton slipped to the Titans all the way at the 61st pick. Fulton has immediately contributed with 15 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 INT, even while dealing with COVID and injury issues. Not only has Fulton been the best rookie on the Titans by far, he’s probably been the best corner on the team sans Adoree Jackson.

When Fulton returns from injury, the Titans seem to be in a good position. After trading for Desmond King, and Jackson and Fulton returning soon, the Titans pass-defense should be much improved.

Fulton was a smart pick to help offset the loss of Logan Ryan. While it’s unfortunate that Fulton has missed several games already, he’s exceeded expectations when he’s been healthy.
