NFL Power Rankings: Playoff picture takes shape before Week 12

18. Miami Dolphins (-4)
I know that Tua was getting battered today, but I am a little bit surprised that the Dolphins pulled him out of the lineup in a one-score game. I’m not sure if it should, but if I follow my gut reaction it makes me think that they aren’t convinced that he is a franchise quarterback.
Now, that is premature and I know that there is still a lot of time to figure that out, but remember that the Dolphins are going to have an amazing draft pick this year thanks to the collapsing Houston Texans. They need to spend this time figuring out exactly what he needs to deal with situations like the ones he faced today.
Losing to the Broncos is a bad look for a team that many talked about as a team that wouldn’t lose again until the middle of December, but this is a reminder that this is still a team that is growing.
17. Chicago Bears (+0)
The Bears aren’t playing this week, and we are going to get to know a lot more about what the future of this team is when they take on the Green Bay Packers this week. Right now the Bears are staying put in the power rankings but they are going to swing hard one way or another next week.
