2. Pittsburgh Steelers (+1)

The Steelers don’t really deserve any credit for stomping on the Jacksonville Jaguars, but this is more about what the Steelers are on a macro level. They are a team stacked with wide receiver talent and with a quarterback that has some (not all) of his arm left as he heads down what looks like the final run of his career.

On the other side, they have the most talented and well-coached defense in the NFL with a variety of different body types and play styles at each level that are impossible to account for because they have the tools to stop anything you throw at them if you don’t disguise it well enough.

Can you beat them? Of course, you can, the Titans, Ravens, and Cowboys were all just a play away from doing that in their games. But, if you do it will be because you earned it not because they weren’t talented enough to beat you.

1. Kansas City Chiefs (+0)

I think the Steelers need to be on top and stay on top to win games in the NFL. Kansas City on the other hand looks like a team that could be behind 21 points in the 4th quarter, someone could go wake Mahomes up from his nap, and they could beat you by double digits before the game is over.

The defense doesn’t look special and they have started to lean on the fact that they know they will never have to win a game for the team so why worry too much about it. However, the offense is creative, fast, versatile, and most importantly they have the best QB in the NFL running it.

There is no doubt that this is the team to beat in the NFL and it is going to take some luck and a great gameplan to beat them.
