NFL Power Rankings: Playoff picture takes shape before Week 12

4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+0)

The Bucs play against Aaron Donald and the L.A. Rams tomorrow, so for now they will stay near the top of the NFC in these power rankings.

3. New Orleans Saints (-1)

This drop in the power rankings has nothing to do with what the Saints did today. In fact, they showed that they could win even if their most important and most veteran player was on the shelf, which is a huge plus.

On top of that, the Saints defense was amazing and they absolutely ruined Matt Ryan’s day. However, if this is a ranking of the teams that deserve to be in the Super Bowl (which it is at this point in the power rankings) how can you argue for them over the Kansas City Chiefs and the Pittsburgh Steelers?

Right now, I don’t think you can make a fair argument so they just have to settle for being the top team in the NFC.
