Week 11 NFL Power Rankings: Giants get hot, Cardinals thrill
By Will Lomas
6. Las Vegas Raiders (+4)
Am I too high on the Raiders? Not to diminish this spot on the power rankings, but anyone from the 4th spot to the 13th spot is one bad day away from the 13th spot and one great day away from the 4th spot.
In this cluster, the Raiders seem to be the most consistent and trustworthy. I can trust that Derek Carr will have a solid but unspectacular day, Josh Jacobs will look pretty good, Darren Waller will make his presence known, Henry Ruggs will scare a defense once or twice, and Maxx Crosby will get a sack.
The floor feels pretty comfortable in the top-10 with the Raiders and it is hard to see them losing a game that they are supposed to win. On the flip side, we have seen them beat the Kansas City Chiefs (the only team to do it in a calendar year) which means that they seem to have a punchers chance at beating great teams.
That feels worthy of a spot near all the familiar names on this list, at least for a week.
5. Baltimore Ravens (-1)
The Ravens look pedestrian on offense and I should knock them harder than this, but at the same time, I’m not sure that they would have lost that game if not for a monsoon that seemed to get worse every time they touched the ball.
As far as their spot in the power rankings go, it is hard for me to imagine a team signing up to play the Ravens when you consider the talent they have that is just starting to get healthy as well as the chaos that Lamar Jackson can bring.
I think they could beat any team in the NFL and counting the Ravens out has made a lot of people look stupid, just as the Titans how they feel about them a week from now.
