Malcolm Butler, CB

Malcolm Butler has played pretty decent all season, and even great at some points. Although last week in Chicago was not his best game of the season. In Week 9 game against the Bears, Butler gave up six receptions for 76 yards on his island vs Allen Robinson.

However, his play has been better than most of the Titans secondary this year. He has 11 pass deflections, two interceptions, and 59 tackles on the season so far. Butler has also allowed a low 62% completion percentage on the season and just two touchdowns.

In this last game against the Colts, he did much of the same. He finished with one allowed reception for eight yards (at least by my eye test) and had a pass deflection. Butlers break off the line looked great, considering he was often matched up against speedy receiver T.Y. Hilton.

He is doing all he can to help this defense, but it just isn’t enough. Hopefully, they can step it up, so the Titans are not stuck in the ‘middle’.

Honorable Mentions

Ryan Allen- After his great game last week, Allen was benched. However, Trevor Daniel played bad enough that Allen won his job back without having to do anything

FedEx- I am sure that Trevor Daniel is a great guy, and a hard worker. But FedEx is the real winners of this past week, as they get one of their employees back.
