14. L.A. Rams (+0)

The Rams have a bye week this week and after the way they have played over the last few weeks, this is a great chance for them to try to adjust and figure out how to get back on track.

We will talk about it a little more in a second, but the “good news” is that this is looking like a two-team race in the NFC West. The 49ers are incredibly banged up and the Cardinals just lost a great game and haven’t been able to finish all season.

With the Seattle Seahawks losing today it is starting to get a little easier to imagine a team winning this division without needing 12+ wins.

13. San Francisco 49ers (-1)

I probably should have hit the 49ers a lot harder here, but the last time they dealt with injuries and I dropped them hard in my power rankings they went out and turned things around. It is a little bit different when you lose your QB, your best player, your top three running backs, and the list goes on and on.

Still, I want to give them a chance to prove themselves without dealing with a short week, and with the Saints, Rams, and Bills as their next three opponents, they are going to get their chance to prove that I was right.

If not, then I will move them down begrudgingly because of how unfair all of those injuries are, but such is life in the NFL (power rankings) I guess.
