Week 10 NFL Power Rankings

We will talk about this in a few slides, but these power rankings are not going to be kind to teams that aren’t passing the eye test.

Specifically a team like the Pittsburgh Steelers who is doing everything right on paper, but who is on the precipice of a team that feels like they were just at the right place at the right time.

But, there will be plenty of time for you to get angry at that later. Right now let’s start with some old friends at the bottom of the NFL power rankings.

32. New York Jets (+0)

The New York Jets play on Monday Night Football, so I didn’t see any reason to move them from their spot this week. I’ll adjust them accordingly in next week’s power rankings.

31. Jacksonville Jaguars (+0)

I don’t know whether Jake Lutton was giving the Jaguars a spark or whether they are just a team with better skill position talent than they were showing with Gardner Minshew, but either way, this was almost a good enough day from them to move them up a spot.

The problem is, defensively I think they still leave a lot to be desired, and whether that is from the cornerbacks, defensive line, or linebackers, ultimately this team just seems so hot and cold on defense that they look ready to give up a big play at any time.
