Weather

The game is being played in Nashville on a surprisingly warm November game. The temperatures are expected to be in the 70s. However, there is expected to be an overcast throughout the game.

There will be slight winds in the range of 6 MPH. Given the state of the Titans special teams, any potential factor can play into the field goal kicking which will now have a new holder and long snapper thanks to the release of Beau Brinkley and the injury to Brett Kern.

Injuries

The Titans are getting mixed news on the injury front. Unsurprisingly, it is expected that wide receiver Adam Humphries will miss the game with a concussion after a scary collision in last week’s game. In addition, it looks more and more likely that punter Brett Kern may miss the game with a wrist injury. It’s a significant loss as Kern is not only the best punter in the league but also the holder on field goal attempts.

On a positive note, it looks like wide receiver A.J. Brown is expected to suit up despite missing practice. At this point, we should probably just assume that Brown will take a break at some point in the week to make sure he is rested.

The Titans secondary may look new with newly acquired Desmond King who should play, but who knows with Mike Vrabel making the call. Speaking of “who knows” Jadeveon Clowney has missed the whole week for what Vrabel called “rest” and is a game-time decision…ok?

Adoree Jackson is likely out this week which would make it 12 straight regular-season games without the 1st round corner.

The Bears, on the other side, are going through a lot of attrition. There are players under the COVID-19 protocol, making them unavailable for the game on Sunday. Right guard Germain Ifedi and right tackle Jason Spriggs are on the COVID-19 list.

Center Cody Whitehair has also tested positive for COVID-19 and will be out.

Backup quarterback Mitch Trubisky is ruled out with a right shoulder injury. This is crucial as some fans have been calling for Trubisky to be reinserted into the lineup. With that not in play, the Bears are forced to roll with Nick Foles for the game.

In addition, the Bears might be without some key players on both sides of the field. Tight end Cole Kmet is questionable for the game. Nose tackle John Jenkins and defensive end Roy Robertson-Harris are out for the game as well as offensive lineman Sam Mustipher.
