12. San Francisco 49ers (-3)

Talk about adding insult to injury. After losing the game this weekend, it was announced that their best player, George Kittle was going to miss nearly two months of action with a foot injury.

If that wasn’t bad enough, they are also going to lose Jimmy Garoppolo for a few weeks.

This just adds more names to a growing list of players that are on I.R. for the 49ers in what is quickly becoming a lost season. I feel terrible for the 49ers, but every time they start to build momentum it seems I have to move them down in the power rankings because they lose an important player for a huge chunk of time.

11. Las Vegas Raiders (+4)

Are the Raiders good? I can’t think of a team in the NFL whose wins and losses have been less consistent throughout the course of this season.

Over the last three weeks, they have lost to the Bucs, but beaten the Kansas City Chiefs and the Cleveland Browns on the road. That seems like the mark of a good team and even though I hesitate to put them in the top-10 of the power rankings, it is hard to argue that they haven’t proved that they can hang with any team in the NFL.

In a struggle vs the Browns and the weather today, the Raiders dominated on the ground, kept the chains moving, and made (most of) their field goals to win a tough one.
