Titans vs. Bengals: Betting Odds and Lines

The Titans opened at 3.5-point road favorites against the Bengals, but that quickly changed.

Since Monday, the line has moved and the Titans currently stand as 5.5-point favorites, according to the Action Network. The Titans have struggled to cover the spread this year as they have only beaten the spread twice this year, despite having one of the best offenses in the NFL.

That hasn’t been the case for the Bengals, who have been terrific against the spread with a 5-1 record despite having only one victory.

The Titans (-190) are solid favorites against the Bengals (+165). The line, similar to the spread, has moved to make the Titans stronger favorites to win the matchup outright. Five of the Titans games this season have been under a touchdown differential.

The over/under is set at 55 points, a reflection of the poor defenses on both sides of the field. The Titans have gone over in four of the last five matches with the Steelers matchup a push. Similarly, the Bengals have covered the over four times this season. Unless the Titans find a way to drastically improve their defense within a week, this game should be a high scoring affair.
