4. Green Bay Packers (+2)

The second-best team in the NFC, the Packers completely manhandled the Houston Texans and it was a game where they easily stamped out any embers of hope that J.J. Watt and Deshaun Watson might have had about the season turning around for them.

As the Texans deal with trade rumors swirling, the Packers sit near the top of the power rankings with their only loss coming in a game where they got a very uncharacteristic game from Aaron Rodgers with a pick-six and an interception.

Now that Rodgers is back to normal after this get-right game, we can get back to looking forward to watching some fun matchups between the Packers and the Bears to mix up the top of the NFC. Speaking of the top of the NFC…

3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+6)

The Bucs sit at the very top of the NFC section of the power rankings, and while the AFC seems like the better conference right now, you wouldn’t be able to tell looking at how the Las Vegas Raiders have played over the last two weeks.

Maybe I should explain.

If you missed last week, the Chiefs lost to the Raiders in a game where Las Vegas really was able to move the ball effectively on the defending Super Bowl Champs.

This week, the Bucs destroyed the Vegas offense and there was really never a doubt as to who would win this game with Tom Brady and company moving the ball at will.

Is that because Vegas is mercurial or is it because the Bucs are that good? Probably a little bit of both, but that is a huge factor in why they jumped up so far on the power rankings this week.
