Week 8 NFL Power Rankings: Steelers beat Titans and stand tall
By Will Lomas

14. Cleveland Browns (-2)
The Browns won a tough game against the Cincinnati Bengals that quickly turned into a shootout, but in the process, they lose Odell Beckham for the season with an ACL tear.
I get that there is a hot take to be made that the team has done better without Odell than with him, but I just can’t believe that losing one of the most talented receivers in the last decade actually helps a team.
Myles Garrett continues to be a monster and now leads the league in sacks with 9 and is tied for the lead with 4 forced fumbles. While he looks more worthy of the 1st overall pick than Baker Mayfield has, I should say that outside of the elite AFC North teams, Mayfield has looked really solid.
Let’s see where this team is in a few weeks after teams have adjusted to a Browns offense without Odell who was (at worst) an elite WR2.
13. Chicago Bears (+0)
The Chicago Bears play on Monday Night Football and won’t be moved in the power rankings until the Week 8 NFL Power Rankings article.
