Titans trade Correa to Jaguars.

The Tennessee Titans announced that Kamalei Correa asked for a trade and then traded him to the Jacksonville Jaguars all in a five-hour span.

This isn’t a surprise move for the Titans other than the fact that this is Jon Robinson’s first trade inside the division and that it seems strange for the Jaguars to be trading away picks or players given their current trajectory.

Correa was upset that he wasn’t getting playing time in Tennessee after the team signed Jadeveon Clowney and Vic Beasley in the offseason, and his time was only going to get reduced more and more as the season went on.

That really isn’t any fault of Correa’s, but the Titans have Derick Roberson coming back this week and he is probably the EDGE on the Titans roster who is the fastest off of the line of scrimmage.

Behind the top four, they felt good enough about Wyatt Ray (Harold Landry’s former bookend at Boston College) to move on from D’Andre Walker despite using a 5th round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft on him.

Like I said, this is a solid move that makes Jacksonville better, even if I don’t understand why a team like the Jaguars made the move right now.
