3. The Buffalo Bills

Moving into Sunday action, the Tennessee Titans newest opponent is the Buffalo Bills who are scheduled to be on the road vs the Las Vegas Raiders this week.

The two teams are a combined 5-1 and the Bills pulled off some last-second heroics to earn their 3-0 record this past weekend.

Something very interesting here is that the Bills are traveling to Las Vegas which is a 3-hour difference. That might not seem like a lot, but Buffalo is going to have to go to Vegas and play 3 hours behind, come back for a week, then travel to Tennessee and travel an hour behind in Nashville.

Again, this isn’t some monster hurdle that they can’t overcome, but it is distracting and something you would rather not deal with if you can help it.

Buffalo doesn’t need to win this week, but it is interesting that they are playing the Raiders a week after the Patriots played them, so if they wanted to use the Raiders as a measuring stick for how well they stack up against their AFC East rivals, that isn’t a bad idea.

That means that the Titans would get an extra week to prepare for Buffalo and possibly come in as a trap game as well. Tennessee is 3-0 so they aren’t going to get many chances to be a trap team, but they might have that chance if Buffalo comes into Nashville 4-0.
