2. One non-SEC matchup to watch

3:30 EST North Carolina @ Boston College

You probably already know this, but Mike Vrabel has strong ties to Boston College. Not only is his son a starting offensive tackle there, but the Titans current Strength and Conditioning Coach was the S&C Coach at Boston College before coming to Tennessee.

So, you can bet that Mike Vrabel is going to spend some time watching this game and there is a fairly huge matchup that should be getting more attention.

There are three draftable prospects on Boston College’s offensive line: guard Zion Johnson (#77), center Alec Lindstrom and tackle Tyler Vrabel (#78).

They are all interesting, but the reason why I mentioned all three is that they are going to be tasked with stopping North Carolina’s electric linebacker Chazz Surratt (#21).

Surratt has a red hot motor and has lined up off the ball and as an EDGE, so his versatility should be intriguing to the Tennessee Titans who drafted a similar player in Rashaan Evans a few years ago. With Jayon Brown not playing his best football and needing a contract after this season, the Titans might want to think about going with Rashaan Evans and some combination of David Long Jr. and a rookie.
