3. Kalif Raymond, WR

Man, I’m happy I get to include this name.

Last week, I wrote that Raymond was one of three Titans who needed to step up. Well, it took until Week 3, but Raymond delivered.

With A.J. Brown still nursing an injury, the Titans needed another receiver to step up to fill the void of a “playmaker” and Raymond delivered with 3 catches for 118 yards. While he didn’t get in the end-zone, Raymond came down with all 3 of his targets (including one inside the five-yard line) and made huge plays at crucial times.

Raymond had a 61-yard catch at the end of the 3rd quarter to set up the go-ahead touchdown and it isn’t hyperbole to say that it was literally game-changing. To be honest, I’m not sure there’s another player on the Titans roster that is capable of making the huge deep catches like Raymond is.

If Arthur Smith can utilize Raymond like this every week, Raymond will become a valuable weapon for this offense. Keep in mind this was without the Titans best receiver in A.J. Brown. It was a welcome sight to see Raymond step up in his absence.
