Titans vs. Vikings: Betting Odds and Lines

The Titans and Vikings opened as a pick’em, according to the Action Network.

Despite the Titans going on the road, the line has moved to 2.5-point favorites in many sportsbooks. The Titans are 1-1 covering the spread this season so far.

The Titans (-145) are slight favorites against the Vikings (+125) despite being undefeated. The underwhelming performance by Tennessee in their wins have hurt their odds even though they are going up against a winless team.

Currently, the over/under is set at 49.5, a product of two relatively electric offenses and two defenses that have struggled to make splash plays. Reverse engineering and doing some math, this suggests that Vegas thinks this game will end as a Titans win with a score somewhere close to 26-23.

The Titans have struggled against the Vikings since the franchise moved to Nashville as they are 1-4 since 2001. The last matchup between these two teams came in 2016, where the Vikings beat the Titans 25-16, so if you are a believer in history playing a factor in these games then you might want to keep the home underdogs in mind.
