20. Houston Texans (-3)

The question I keep asking myself is, “What are the Texans good at right now?”

Deshaun Watson isn’t the reason why this team is losing games, but he also isn’t dragging them to victory like some fans thought they might. Their offensive line is still getting crushed despite all the resources they had sunk into it, so that isn’t their strength either.

Maybe defense on paper, but they have allowed 30 points in each of their two games and we just saw the Kansas City Chiefs look very human today against the L.A. Chargers.

I am struggling to find the real standout players or identities here.

19. L.A. Chargers (+1)

Speaking of the Chargers, what a great loss, and I’m not being sarcastic. Almost by accident today, the Chargers proved that they have a really good defense even without Derwin James and that Justin Herbert is a good prospect and he should be getting snaps as soon as possible.

For the majority of the game, it looked like the Chargers were going to win against the Chiefs, but they just didn’t have the horses to do it. Despite that, there is plenty to be excited about in L.A. Now let’s see what Herbert and the rest of the young Chargers can do going forward.
