14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+0)

Is Tom Brady good? No, right?

Sure, the Bucs won the game and it was a high scoring affair, but that was because the Bucs defense is stellar and they cut through the Panthers offensive line like a hot knife through butter. For the most part, Brady had a short field and the majority of his throws were short to intermediate or they were great plays from the receiver.

Last week there was an excuse built-in because the New Orleans Saints have such a good defense, but this week Brady was basically untouched. I am not moving them up because I think this is something that is going to get worse and not better, so I need to see them win in ways that don’t include Tom Brady.

13. Arizona Cardinals (+5)

If you really want to annoy teams with great pass rushes, find a quarterback who can run around and completely punish them for overpursuing. Over the past two weeks Kyler Murray has done that to the San Francisco 49ers (back when that used to mean something!1!!) and the Washington Football Team.

Sure, the guys like Nuk Hopkins, Larry Fitzgerald and Kenyan Drake are great, but the engine that makes this thing go right now is Kyler Murray and his ability to take off whenever he wants to. With the 49ers hurting and the Seattle Seahawks and L.A. Rams likely more worried about each other than the Cardinals, this might be a perfect time for one of the sneakiest teams in the NFL to make a leap and put themselves in a position to host a playoff game this winter.
