What they told us: Top-3 then special teams

Rashaan Evans and Jayon Brown are one of the best one-two punches in the NFL at linebacker. They can be on the field for any situation and in the few games where we have seen both fully healthy, they are a tandem to be reckoned with.

Behind them is David Long who had an exceptional rookie year after being thrust into action early in the season, and then again in the playoffs when he was asked to defend the dangerous Baltimore Ravens defense.

Long is a player with a bright future and he has very similar vibes to Jayon Brown, but behind those three there is a clear commitment to special teams players.

Nick Dzubnar was signed this offseason to replace Daren Bates and I think that Will Compton is going to be great at filling that Wesley Woodyard role in the locker room.

Everyone has their role and this is a perfect balance of clear starters at the top, upside behind them and guys with specific roles rounding out the group.
