Defensive line

What they told us: They saw what we all saw.

It is really easy for fans to like guys based on flashes that they showed in previous years, but for coaches, it usually comes down to consistency, familiarity and which players have the highest floor.

I think most fans had Jeffery Simmons, Daquan Jones, Jack Crawford, Larrell Murchison, and Isaiah Mack making the roster. Then the question was whether it would be Joey Ivey or Matt Dickerson that made the roster as that last player, but that decision ultimately ended up in favor of Dickerson.

Either way, it is great to see that the Titans kept their five-best interior defenders, specifically Isaiah Mack who was so good in bursts last season. If they use this group correctly they have the versatility and talent to be a very good unit.

This could be a spot to watch next offseason, but right now this group seems like the best fans could have hoped for given their roster heading into training camp.
