Jadeveon Clowney, EDGE Rusher

It goes without saying. The Titans need to land Jadeveon Clowney now.

The Titans have been open and upfront throughout this offseason on their desires to bring Clowney to Nashville. While the edge rusher position has been a huge hole for the team, they did little to add talent there.

The Titans cut Cameron Wake before the start of free agency and did not add any talent in the NFL draft. To make matters worse, they have cut D’Andre Walker and Jamal Davis II.

The biggest addition the Titans made all offseason was to bring Vic Beasley in on a one-year deal, and we all are well versed in how that has gone.

The Titans seem to be going all out for Clowney and at this point, the Titans should consider overpaying him to bring in a necessary secondary pass rusher to the roster.

The Titans have waited too long on Clowney and have missed out on other potential candidates, such as Everson Griffen being the most glaring name given his free agency process.

If the Titans lose out on Clowney, the team will be going into the first game of the season with only five players manning the edge of the defensive front. While Harold Landry is a great player, he will need more help than just Beasley if this team expects to improve from last year.
