#4. Chris Jackson, CB

I have been thinking that Jackson might make this team for a week now, and when I looked at the recent reports of the rookie class, I wrote this:

"-The 7th round rookie has been the forgotten man in Tennessee’s draft class, and a lot of that is because the Titans went from having no cornerbacks to adding four in the span of a few weeks. During that time Jackson got pushed to the back of everyone’s mind, but it should be noted that he is a very athletic player with a collegiate resume full of production. If you are going to gamble on a player in the 7th round, you want to gamble on someone with his traits, testing and tape. It sounds like he is getting more reps with some injuries, and that is a great chance for him to make his case to earn a spot on this roster."

All of that is still true, and getting nearly 10 days of practice where he was the rookie that the coaches were working on instead of Kristian Fulton who missed time, has a chance to endear him to this staff.

Is it enough for a job? That depends on special teams and just how much he showed, but there is no doubting his athleticism and history of production, so if everything is equal between him and another DB then I would put my money on Jackson.
