It is Titans signing day.

The Tennessee Titans don’t have practice today and that is important because it means that they are likely to make a move in free agency.

Last week we saw the Titans sign Will Compton and Jeremy McNichols to contracts, and it seems like both are virtual locks to make Tennessee’s 53-man roster this weekend.

This wasn’t a spur of the moment decision, to sign a free agent in 2020 they have to go through proper testing and screening procedures, work out, pass a physical, and then they can be signed. That takes planning and even before that planning you have to narrow down your list of potential signees to positions of potential need.

I believe there is a new rule that suggests that you can’t bring in batches of free agents often, and you can only bring players in who you think you might realistically sign to fill open (or soon to be open) roster spots.

It is that time of the week again, and we know about two workouts that are going to take place, as well as some calls the Titans might have made to help fill positions with injured players. Let’s start with what we know.
