Titans fans should have some fun individual matchups to watch in Week One
The Tennessee Titans Week 1 game against the Denver Broncos should be a fun start to the season– even beyond the obligatory “football is finally back” reasons.
That season opener should give football fans more than they could ask for. Matchups between talented position groups like the Broncos’ passing offense against the Titans secondary, established veterans like Denver’s future Canton-bound pass rusher Von Miller and Tennessee’s heart-and-soul left tackle Taylor Lewan— but it’s not just the veterans that will have fun individual matchups for Week 1.
Both the Titans and the Broncos both have a handful of rookies from their 2020 classes that could be set to see some meaningful playing time right from the start of their pro careers. Even better, these two draft classes have players who should be matching up against each other almost instantly.
Keeping tabs on rookies and watching their emergence will always be fun, but watching those rookies go head-to-head in competition for the upper hand, in their debut to the big leagues no less, could make for some must-watch television.
So before Tennessee and Denver take the field on Monday night, keep these six rookies in mind, as they could be on pace for some fun individual battles.
