Wyatt Ray

First of all, both of the players I am going to talk about today first popped up on my timeline thanks to @TitanUpTalk on Twitter, who has been all over these under the radar signings and meetings.

If you are a Boston College fan, you are familiar with Ray from his days teaming up with Harold Landry and Zach Allen. Speaking of the prolific EDGE players at Boston College, you might be interested to know that it was Ray who led the team in sacks when Harold Landry left.

Most people credit that stat to Zach Allen, but despite Allen being the first pick in the 3rd round, it was the UDFA, Ray who set the tempo as a pass rusher in 2018 with 9 sacks.

In college he showed a mixture of winning on the outside and winning by stunting inside on designed plays, so he should quickly adapt to the Titans system if he gets a real chance to make the team.

It is also worth noting that he played with Tyler Vrabel (Mike Vrabel’s son) in college, was a teammate of Harold Landry and that the Titans Strength and Conditioning coaching spent 4 years with him at Boston College.

So the Titans had plenty of information on him and they should know exactly what they are getting.
