What you need to know about these two potential Titans.

In the midst of Vic Beasley, training camp starting, Jadeveon Clowney rumors, and everything else, you might have missed that the Titans recently signed a free agent.

EDGE has been a position that has changed a lot in the last week. Just to give you a reminder of how crazy that was, here is a timeline:

-Vic Beasley finally shows up, but no one has seen or heard anything about his absence.

Jack Crawford placed on the Covid-19 list.

-Josh Smith placed on Covid-19 list.

-Vic Beasley doesn’t pass his physical and is put on the NFI list (which can either mean he is injured or he just hasn’t passed the physical).

Reggie Gilbert is waived-injured and ultimately ends up back with the Titans on IR.

That is four of the players that the Titans weren’t depending on, but they are all players that were going to take snaps in training camp. Players like Gilbert and Smith were competing for roster spots, while Crawford and Beasley were fighting to earn more playing time.

The Titans aren’t an organization to sit on their hands though, so they went out and signed an EDGE that the coaching staff has some familiarity with.
