Shaun Wade CB, Ohio State

The undisputed top DB in the nation, Wade was exceptional last year.

I almost didn’t even put him on this list because he is so talented and well thought of that he really won’t have a chance to face much scrutiny this offseason. But then I thought about the void at the top of the board for a defensive player.

Wade had a chance to leave last year and be a first round pick, but he stayed because he wanted to play one more season. Well, what better way to make that worthwhile than to go to a team in the West that plays Alabama and LSU, and take away two of the best WRs in college football this season.

Auburn is a team that I would love to see with Shaun Wade because they could slide him in as a starter and immediately fill the hole left behind by a former 1st round cornerback. Matchups against Ja’Marr Chase and DeVonta Smith would be must-see tv and it is really the only thing that Wade has left to do on his list of accomplishments that he needs before convincing teams that he is the top defensive prospect in the class.
