The Corey Levin Revision

Last year, the Tennessee Titans had to cut Corey Levin (which was devastating to me) and he was claimed off of waivers by the Chicago Bears. However, the Bears could have a numbers crunch at that position this year with two rookie draft picks and two UDFA signings.

Because of his age, normally he wouldn’t have a chance to come back to the Titans on the practice squad. However, the Titans do have a chance under the new rules to bring him back and bolster their interior line with someone that the team is familiar with and who can do a lot of things if he is signed.

Maybe the interior offensive line isn’t your thing. Well, let’s look at how that second rule could help the first rule become even more interesting.

I believe there is a way to add Pro Bowl talent to the practice squad with this combination that would give a team like the Titans a huge boost to the roster in 2020. Not only that, but it could allow them to manipulate the market and get some draft picks in exchange for needy teams.

Let me explain what I am thinking.
