20. Arizona Cardinals (finished 20)

What I said at the end of last season:

"The Cardinals feel fun and even though they really waited until the end of the season to start making noise, it looks like they have the key pieces in place to be good next year. The defense is a few front seven pieces away from being very good and the offense looks like they could explode in year two of the Kliff Kingsbury era. Keeping Kenyan Drake is key for them, but if they can do that then they have the scheme to be competitive in every game on offense. With the should-be DPOY Chandler Jones on the other side, the future looks bright for the Cardinals and they should have enough money to get even better."

Looking back:

The Cardinals should be very fun this season, especially because they absolutely stole DeAndre Hopkins from the Houston Texans. What concerns me is that I think that offensive line is terrible and while you can mask that in their offensive scheme, we saw Bill O’Brien do that in Houston and those hits take a toll on quarterbacks.

Again, I think this is going to be a very fun offense and an opportunistic defense that should play better this year, but I need to see how the league attacks Kyler Murray this season to really have 100% confidence that he can make lemonade out of that offensive line.
