Tough Cuts

Next, these are players who probably are not making the final 55-man roster, but could stick around through training camp.

Ibraheim Campbell, CB/S

Campbell is a special-teams ace who could be on a roster as a depth piece in the secondary. The only problem is, the Titans already have several of these special-teams aces. Dane Cruikshank, Amani Hooker, rookie Chris Jackson, Tye Smith, and Chris Milton are all key special-teams contributors in the secondary already.

Kareem Orr, S

Orr was on the practice squad last year, and he did show some promise. Once again, this is a position group that is so stacked, it’ll be tough for any unproven guys to crack it.

Amani Bledsoe, DE

Bledsoe is a second-year UDFA out of Oklahoma. Granted, the Titans depth on the d-line is sub-par, I still think Bledsoe will be one of the first to go. Mack, Ivie, and Dickerson all have a better chance to make the squad.

Shaun Wilson, RB

Wilson is on the “Tough Cuts” slide instead of “Easy Cuts” only because the depth behind Henry at running back is unproven. The Titans could keep Wilson around until August, but they could go ahead and cut him before training camp if team brass prefers to evaluate the likes of Senorise Perry and Cam Scarlett more.

Khaylan Kearse-Thomas, OLB

I actually like the rookie UDFA out of Arizona State, but he’s another guy who could be a victim of a number crunch. Especially if you consider a Clowney signing (it’s always possible!), then an UDFA OLB would probably be expendable.
