#1 Brett Kern

Brett Kern has already played 11 seasons with the Tennessee Titans, and he is still going strong.

In fact, I would say that right now, Brett Kern is the best he has ever been at punting a football. He has been to 3 straight Pro Bowls, and last season he was voted first-team all-pro.

Kern solidified his legacy as the best Tennessee Titans kicker of all-time during the wild card round of the 2019 NFL Playoffs. The Titans had played the New England Patriots to a close game, and they had gotten up on them. All they needed was a stop.

With 5:56 left in the game, the Titans were up 14-13 and had sent Kern out to punt. Next, came the moment that Titans fans will remember for the rest of “e-Kernity”. Mike Vrabel and the Titans used an old trick of Bill Belichick’s, using penalties to run the clock down to 5 minutes. Then, Bret Kern punted the Patriots inside the 20.

Later in the game, the score remained the same and the Titans had the ball back. With 26 seconds remaining, Brett Kern punted the ball all the way down to the one-yard line. That was the nail in the coffin for Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Brady then threw a pick-six to Logan Ryan and the ball game was over.
