#4 Craig Hentrich

Craig Hentrich had a long NFL career. He was originally drafted by the New York Jets in 1993, but didn’t actually play a game until 1994 with the Green Bay Packers.

After 4 seasons with the Packers, Hentrich signed with the Tennessee Oilers. The Oilers soon became the Titans, as we all know. Or do we?

Regardless, Craig Hentrich spent 12 seasons with the Tennessee Titans organization. During that time, he was a two time Pro Bowler and a one-time first-team all-pro.

Hentrich had an incredible leg, his career-long punt was 78 yards in 1999. Throughout his career, he punted for almost 50,000 yards.

Of course, with him being the punter in 1999, Hentrich punted for the Titans in their only Super Bowl appearance to date.

That combined with his longevity in the NFL was enough to help him notch the number four spot on this list. As a fan that was growing up during his time in the NFL, Craig Hentrich was a name that was drilled into my brain over the years.

Even after all of his accomplishments with the team, he still isn’t the best punter in Tennessee Titans history.
