5. A.J. Brown foreshadowing

This was the game where we saw what A.J. Brown could really do at the NFL level, we just had no idea that it was all real.

In the Marcus Mariota era, this was the only game where Brown had 100+ yards and it was one of only two games he had in that 6-game stretch where he had more than 27 yards. Not to put too much of this on Marcus Mariota, but knowing what we know now it really seems like Tannehill could have had a chance to challenge for the rookie receiving yard record.

After Tannehill took over, A.J. Brown averaged 77.8 yards per game and if that was stretched over a 16 game season it would mean that he would have ended up with 1,245 yards.

That total would have been good enough for 5th behind Billy Groman, Anquan Boldin, Randy Moss, and (oddly enough) Odell Beckham Jr. which is a pretty good group of WRs to be mentioned alongside.
