Jethro Franklin

Breer says:

"Jethro Franklin: A career defensive line coach, Franklin’s got the respect of his peers and has bounced back and forth between the NFL and the major college level."

Just to show what a weird place the world is, Jethro Franklin actually has a really strange connection to current Titans DL coach Terrell Williams.

In 2015, Dennis Allen was fired as the HC of the (then) Oakland Raiders, which left Terrell Williams in a state of flux. Ultimately he chose to go to the Miami Dolphins where he would coach Ndamukong Suh and Cameron Wake for three years.

At the same time, Franklin was actually leaving the University of Miami where he was the defensive line coach, and he was going across the country to be the Oakland Raiders DL coach.

Yep, Franklin was actually the replacement for Terrell Williams with the Raiders.

According to Breer he is looking for a job, and he just coached Jadeveon Clowney with the Seattle Seahawks, so maybe this deal could be even more possible if that helps get JD through the doors.
