Jacksonville Jaguars – Joe Schobert

The Jaguars have had plenty of negative things surrounding their offseason. They have an extreme lack of talent and it seems the players that are talented do not want to be there anymore. There have been a few positives for the Jacksonville Jaguars, though. One being the NFL Draft and another being the signing of former Cleveland Browns LB Joe Schobert.

The Jags and Schobert agreed on a 5 year deal worth $53.75 million. Joe Schobert finished the 2019 season with 133 total tackles, 7 TFL, 2 sacks, and 4 interceptions. An argument could be made that him making the Pro Bowl would be justified.

The Jaguars have had plenty of struggles since their 2017 AFC Championship appearance, but Schobert wants to bring with him a winning culture to Jacksonville.

"In 2017, the Jaguars went to the AFC Championship game, but I want to be able to change the culture into a traditional winning culture to be a team that can go to the playoffs year after year and become one of the more successful franchises in the AFC, competing for titles every year. Joe Schobert on joining the Jacksonville Jaguars"

Joe Schobert was the Jaguars biggest offseason addition. Let’s be honest, though, how much of a winning culture can he actually bring coming from the Browns? We all know what happened to the Cleveland Browns when they ran into the Tennessee Titans last season.
