Which Titans made the list?

Over the last 10 years, ESPN selected these Titans to represent the 1st team for the AFC South:

1. Jack Conklin, RT

It is strange that the AFC South had such bad OL play as a whole, but the tackle positions were loaded over the 2010s. Conklin correctly gets labeled as the best right tackle of that decade, but I have to think that David Stewart was also pretty close to making this list.

2. Delanie Walker, TE

Absolute stud and a no brainer.

3. Jurrell Casey, DT

Casey didn’t have much competition here which is a shame because he could have beaten nearly every defensive tackle in the league during this stretch except maybe guys like Aaron Donald and Gerald McCoy. Trading him was the right move, but Casey had an exceptional career in Tennessee.

4. Kevin Byard, Safety

Another stud, no brainer.

5. Michael Griffin, Safety

Good for ESPN putting Griffin on this list because they could have gone a few ways that just wouldn’t have been smart. Tyrann Mathieu wasn’t in the AFC South long enough to get consideration and making sure that they didn’t force Bob Sanders in here was smart. Also, they had chances to put the names of guys who made more money than plays like Tashaun Gipson, but they didn’t and they nailed this one.

6. Marc Mariani, PR/KR

He deserves this spot because he was very good until a devastating leg injury, but even after that, he went on to have a successful career as a returner.
