ESPN’s take on the best Titans over the last decade.

ESPN has released their All-Decade team by division, and they have some interesting ideas on which Tennessee Titans should and shouldn’t be on the AFC South’s list.

This is mostly just anecdotal takes and each team is pretty well represented so it is hard to argue too much. What makes it even more difficult is that you are asked to compare players who basically played in different eras.

How do you compare Michael Roos facing off against Mario Williams to Jack Conklin facing Yannick Ngakoue? Would Cortland Finnegan do better in today’s NFL when he would be asked to play against smaller receivers and not constantly drawing Hall of Fame receivers like Andre Johnson, Reggie Wayne and Marvin Harrison?

All you can do as look at the impact that those players had during their time in the AFC South and try to figure out how all of those careers stack up against each other.

After everything was said and done, 6 players who spent the best years of their careers with the Tennessee Titans made ESPN’s AFC South’s All-Decade team and here is how that stacks up with other homegrown talents on this list:

Houston Texans: 8

Tennessee Titans: 6

Indianapolis Colts: 5

Jacksonville Jaguars: 3

You may notice that number doesn’t say 7.5, but let’s talk about the six that I am focusing on first.
