Who will be the next Titans player on a Madden cover?

Despite the fact that the Tennessee Titans are underappreciated year after year by the national media, EA has given them credit over the years on the cover of Madden, the popular NFL game.

Since 1994 when the game first started featuring players on the cover, a Tennessee Titans player has been featured two times. Once for Madden 2001 with Eddie George, and once for Madden ’08 with Vince Young.

It’s been 13 years since the Titans have had a player on the cover of Madden, but I guess it can’t be the Titans every year, right? As much as we all wish it could, players like Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes come into the NFL and are absolutely electric throughout the course of a whole season. As a result, they get on the cover of an NFL video game and are rewarded with unstoppable “x-factor” abilities that make them absolutely annoying to play against.

EA released the Madden 21 cover today and it’s actually really cool. Despite that, you already know Titans fans have made their own version of the Madden cover.

Forget everything you know about the Lamar Jackson cover, the Derrick Henry Madden cover is the one we deserve! In all honesty, I would pay good money for a copy of Madden with that cover on it.

With players on the rise like Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes, and Christian McCaffrey who will be the next Titans player on the cover of a Madden game? Let’s look at what it took to get the last two Titans players on the cover, and then look at who I think the next potential cover star is.
