Alabama’s impact on Tennessee

On paper, it makes complete sense to assume that adding players from schools that win a ring seemingly every other year, would make a team better. However, there are a lot of Alabama players that were drafted highly that never panned out for one reason or another.

That has not been the case with the Titans (since Chance Warmack) and recently Jim Wyatt explained just how good the last two Alabama picks have been for Tennessee. When he was asked who are the “Most Feared” Titans on the roster he said:

"Hey George. I’m going to tackle both sides of the ball on this one. On offense, it’s a slam dunk: The stiff-arming Derrick Henry is the most feared. On defense, I’m going with Rashaan Evans, who has turned into a tackling machine with some pop."

I completely agree with that analysis from Jim Wyatt who has obviously been able to keep a close eye on the two ever since they came into the league. That isn’t hyperbole, Jim Wyatt was actually there with Rashaan Evans on draft night after he was selected by the Titans.

In a way, so was Derrick Henry…
