Trying to guess 2020 stat lines for the Tennessee Titans’ receiving corps

How’s this for a hot take, The Tennessee Titans have one of the most talented groups of pass-catchers in all the NFL, the team just doesn’t run an offense that would give them the stats to prove it.

Not that the Titans will be pushing for the title of best-receiving group in the 2020 season or anything like that. No, their receivers don’t match those of the Cowboys or the Buccaneers. And no, their tight ends group can’t live up to the standard set by the 49ers or the Ravens. But ignoring the stats and looking at talent, Tennessee has built quite an impressive all-around group that at least deserves to be in the discussion of great offensive supporting casts.

Trying to figure out how all the talent on the Titans offensive roster will perform though, is another story altogether. For as great as A.J. Brown and Jonnu Smith are, and for as high as their ceilings reach, there’s no mistaking– this is Derrick Henry’s offense in 2020.

But Brown, Smith, and all of the other Titans pass-catchers from Corey Davis to Anthony Firkser will be playing a vital role in the Tennessee offense for 2020. Everyone running routes for the Titans next season will make their presence felt on the field, but what will that presence look like in the box scores?

Let’s do the best we can to predict the season stat lines for the big-name Titans receivers and tight ends for next year, starting with a fan favorite.
