Tennessee Titans first draft with Jon Robinson yielded one of the trades of the decade.
How often does a GM take over a franchise and make one of the biggest trades of the decade? Well, Tennessee Titans Jon Robinson came on to the scene and made a splash in year one.
Bleacher Report agreed and ranked it 6th among the 9 biggest trades of the last decade in a recent article.
Like most massive trades, the move that got the Rams from the middle of the first round all the way up to the top pick was multi-layered and it took years to figure out who the true winners and losers were.
The trade is best summed up like this in the article:
"So for all intents and purposes, it was [Jared] Goff, [Pharoh] Cooper, [Mike] Thomas and [Temmarik] Hemingway for [Jack] Conklin, [Derrick] Henry, [Corey] Davis, [Jonnu] Smith, [Austin] Johnson, [Leshaun] Sims and [Kalan] Reed."
So who won? Well, Bleacher Report gave the Tennessee Titans a “B” and the Rams a “C”, but I am not sure I would grade it that way.
Here are my thoughts on why both teams ended up and which players are still making an impact for their team.
