Chiefs, Browns and Chargers among top-5 games for Titans in 2019

4. Week 12 vs Jacksonville Jaguars

Entertainment Factor: 8/10

Drama: 5/10

Season Importance: 6/10

Does this game have the dramatics of some of Tennessee’s more memorable regular-season wins of 2019? Honestly, no. If you define a “good game” solely by close, competitive football being played, you’ll probably want to move onto the next slide.

But a “good” game takes many forms, and the Titans’ Week 12 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars took the form of a good ol’ fashioned curb-stomping that might have been even more of a blowout than the box score would tell you. Though the teams went into halftime separated by a 7-3 margin, Tennessee completely controlled the game on offense and defense in the opening 30 minutes of play, with clock-draining drives and a costly red zone fumble contributing to their low scoring total.

But any fear that the Titans might let the game slip through their fingers was washed away in the third quarter. Touchdowns started piling up for Tennessee while spirits began to break along the Jacksonville sideline, all this compiling in a 28-0 run taking place over less than seven minutes of game time.

Running up the score is always a fun time, especially after years of watching a Titans offense that played like they were allergic to points. But running up the score on an AFC South rival, well that’s good enough to make for a top-five game of the season.
