Danielle Hunter, DE Vikings

If you think Danielle Hunter will be easy for Tennessee to contain well you’re dead wrong. Hunter has proven over the past two seasons that he will not be denied sacks. Since 2018, Hunter has added 29 sacks to his career total of 54.5. To make matters worse, Hunter lines up on the left side of the field. This will give either Dennis Kelley or Isaiah Wilson, whoever is starting at the time, the task of keeping Hunter off of Ryan Tannehill.

You can’t just focus on Danielle Hunter on passing downs, though. He has 36 tackles for loss over the last two seasons, so you have to be aware of where he is before you run the ball. He will bust through the line to break up your run play before you even know it. Running the ball becomes more of an issue when you consider Michael Pierce, the Vikings new starting DT. Pierce has proven to be one of the best run-stuffers in the league. The Titans will need a great game plan and Derrick Henry at 100% to have success running the ball.

Danielle Hunter’s 54.5 sacks? Yeah, that was in just 78 games. When you take a look at who he is accompanied by with this stat it becomes even more impressive. Hunter definitely deserves more credit for what he has been able to accomplish over recent years. The Titans better make sure to make containing him a point or he could become a game wrecker real quick.

Keeping Hunter contained every single offensive down is going to be tough to do. I don’t envy whoever is going to be stuck in front of him trying to block. I would imagine many double teams coming his way come week 3.
