Titans Offensive Line vs Jaguars Pass-Rushers (Weeks 2 & 14)

A fantastic front seven that included Calais Campbell, Yannick Ngakoue, and Malik Jackson has lost all three of those stars from that wild playoff season that was insane enough to be its own episode of The Twilight Zone, but the Jaguars have done a solid job of replacing those players with some up-and-coming stars like Josh Allen and the rookie K’Lavon Chaisson.

But while the Jaguars have a good group of pass rushers, the Titans have their own impressive cast of offensive linemen with the ability to hold their own against the likes of Allen and Chaisson. Players like Lewan, Saffold, and Jones are proven veterans at this point that was part of a group that allowed just one sack to last year’s jaguars in Week 14 of last season.

However, there are two sides to the Titans offensive line. A physically imposing, borderline dominant side– and a side that allowed nine sacks to that same Jaguars team in Week Three. It’s a Jaguars team with new faces, sure, but that goes for Tennessee as well who spent their first-round pick this past draft on Georgia tackle, Isaiah Wilson.

And either way, the Titans struggled in long stretches of the season against talented pass-rushers, allowing the third-most sacks in the NFL with 56. Whether or not they’ll be able to hold their own in two games against Jacksonville will be fun to watch.
